I was out and about all day Saturday for my birthday.
Sunday was spent with the Mister making a monstrous strawberry birthday cake.
I'm slowly working my way back into some projects after I was all go!go!go! there for a week.
Multiple rejections online and off might have something to do with that.
I've been submitting my work and project ideas to contests or websites or magazines and the mail fairy brought me more than one rejection at once on Monday.

I'm trying desperately to not get sucked into Granny Squares but they are just So Gorgeous.
I don't think I have the types of fabric I'd really want to use for it, however.
I need to find myself a scrap swap.

It is s typical day for North Texas in the spring time. The weather is all about doing something, and can't make up it's mind as to what. All of the fuss and bother has my asthma in a dither and I am laying low......stalking the postman in hopes that he brings the backing I ordered.

I've been feeling the granny square pull, too! Ahh, but I CAN NOT start something new til the Swoon is done! I wish I was expecting something fun in the mailbox!! (not right now, though..maybe I need to fix that-ha)

Belated happy birthday (the cake sounds fab) and sorry for all the rejections, I've not been brave enough to try more than 1 online comp, and I wasn't really expecting to get anywhere with it, I was just having fun. Hope your week improves anyway!
